Hollow Blocks

Concrete block production involves the following processes:

  • Mix design
  • Mixing
  • Compacting
  • Curing
Available Sizes
  • 4" x 8" x 16"
  • 6" x 8" x 12"
Mix design

Quality of the concrete is determined by the quantity and quality of the raw materials being considered. Proportioning is mainly based on this and different aspects of mixing, placing and curing involved. Both physical properties and quantity are taken into account to determine proper mix proportion.

Perfect mixing process involves mixing aggregates, cement and water in a unified manner in the concrete mixer for approx. 2 minutes, which ensures that the surface of the aggregate is completely covered. Once the mix is ready, it is then discharges into the block making machine through the attached hopper.

After the mixer is loaded in the machine, the compacting process begins, which involves compressing and vibrating. This results in the hardness of the blocks. Different molds are used with the block making machine to produce blocks of different sizes and shapes.

After Compacting, the blocks are removed and left to set for 48 Hours, covered under polythene sheet. Then, after 24 hours, the blocks are stored in an area where they are cured with water. The process of curing continues for 12 days. After this, the blocks are ready to be delivered.
