CS - SAND

INTRODUCTION FOR CS SAND:

Depleting sources of Natural River sand and strict environmental guidelines on mining has gradually shifted the attention of the construction industry towards a suitable fine aggregate alternative that can replace the presently used Natural River sand.

Crushed Stone sand (CS Sand) has surfaced as a viable alternative to Natural River sand and is being now used commonly throughout the world as fine aggregate.

It is manufactured by crushing the quarried stone to a size that will completely pass through 4.75 mm sieve.

Mining Division - Process of crushing operations

SKY M-Sand is produced using IS Grade VSI and other Crusher Machinery, which ensures precision and quality.
The whole operation is carried out in 5 stages:

PJC stage1

The Boulders acquired from our mines are fed to the Primary Jaw Crusher (PJC), which crushes the large stones into smaller pieces. Then, the crushed stones are fed to the Secondary Cone Crusher.

SCC stage2

To crush the stones further and reduce the size, the stones are fed to the Secondary Cone Crusher (SCC), which gives the stones the desired size.

VSI stage3

The highlight of M-Sand being the cubical shape, is achieved by subjecting the stones to Vertical Shaft Impactor (VSI) Machine, to blunt the edges of the stones.

HFS stage4

To ensure Uniform Gradation and Smooth finish of the particles, the 3 deck High Frequency Banana Screen (HFS) is used in each crusher.

ACC stage5

The Classifier is used to segregate the particles from crusher dust that is below 150 microns, resulting in sand particles of desired shape and size.
